Our story
Autographic Co. is a Manhattan based consulting engineering boutique founded by Asghar Ghodsi, PE in 2012. Since opening Autographic Co. has been offering structural engineering services and special inspections to architectural firms and a full-range of residential, commercial, industrial, and contractor clients. We specialize in providing Structural design, construction administration and special inspections all in one place. Navigating NYC construction can be daunting. We provide clear, expert structural engineering advice to help you build, renovate, and restore with confidence.
During the 14+ years operation of the firm we have completed more than 200 design and special inspection projects detailing a wide variety and complexity. With the revised special inspection guideline effective July 1, 2009 under the 2008 New York City Building Code; as a special inspection agency Autographic Co. has been extensively involved with the structural inspection of numerous commercial, industrial, governmental and residential projects.
About the principal
Asghar Ghodsi holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in civil/ structural engineering from Syracuse University. Initially working for numerous NY based Top ranking environmental consulting companies; Asghar has over 30 years of experience in the structural design, construction administration and special inspection of municipal, residential, commercial and institutional projects. He oversees the development of all projects from start to finish, so clients know their project is in good hands.
